Hi,
With so many people crossing tuhe Atlantic at this time of year, I thought you might like to know that Weatheronline have added some excellent Atlantic weather maps to their 'Expert Charts' section.
The charts include pressure, wind, visibility and rainfall and come from the GFS model. They are updated 4x per day and are available from http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-b...PANEL=0&ZOOM=0 (http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=noat&MODELL=gfs&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=pslv&HH=0&ARCHIV=0&PANEL=0&ZOOM=0)
Now, I have to declare an interest because I do some forecasting for Weatheronline. But, I have been working with them to develop this and I think it is so good I'd be telling you about it anyway.
If you would like any additional data then let me know and I'll pass the message on to them, they are very keen to get this right and of course it is completely free of charge. They should be commended for their hard work.
Enjoy!
Simon
