Have any Leopard owners had problems with the leaking of the Lexan side or front windows or any major problems with these windows failing and collapsing or coming out of their bedding from waves or wind etc. Also I have a 2000 Leopard 45 does anyone know where to get those snap on ext. sunscreens/ shades that are now prevelent on these cats , Thanks in advance

Totally agree, Peter goes out his way to help - he even contacted designer Gino M for comments on Leopard structural additions. Fair play.

Also, if I understand the snap on shades (not the large louvered ones on the front of Leopards, but the mesh?), you can get those through any sail shop or make them yourself. The snaps are just screws with snap heads on them that drive into your deckhouse and the shades are a material sold at Sailrite:

sailrite.com (Sailrite sells all that stuff, including the snaps)

If you put the screws into your deck or deckhouse, make sure you (or your canvas guy) beds them properly. I know Leopards are balsa hulls, and I assume the deck is balsa as well. Get water in there and you'll be very very sorry.

These snap screws are the primary reason cores get ruined.
