Main port of entry for yachts is Road Bay on the north coast of Anguilla. Good anchorage with excellent holding. Not a massive amount of space for visitors though as many boats are permanently moored.

Customs and Immigration just about the friendliest I've found in the Caribbean. Often very inefficient though as the forms are usually photocopies, you need 5 copies and there isn't always enough carbon paper to go around! If you just stay in Road Bay, it is cheap. If you want a cruising permit it gets expensive (don't have the details to hand) as it is charged by size and on a daily basis. My recommendation is stay in Road Bay and rent a car for a day.

Navigation is simple, not much to hit that isn't well charted or visible.

Provisioning almost non-existant.

Fuel possible at ferry dock on south coast.

Couldn't find a chandlery.

Security appears good. Not much evidence of criminal activity. A prosperous island which usually helps.

Overall... A nice place for a couple of days but not much to do for the yottie.
