OK Talbot , up and working.
I implement almost every suggestion from members - its your community that you create and so any ideas are normally acted upon instantly there being no committee needed to sanction it!![]()
Not so Talbot ....
I did it within the hour yesterday buy seeing as this did not result in a post of praise from you and seeing as you were online and could see the boat names appearing and still made no comment, I decided to tell you about it!!!!!!![]()
Touche Paul......you see my French is improving living in Montreal!! Might alos comer in handy when we get ti FRench Polynesia

![]()
Yes and very pleasing.
300 members in just under 3 months..... not a bad start!![]()
Hear, hear, but not just the members, some excellent quailty and very informative threads with equally excellent posts, not seen anywhere else.![]()
Hey Paul,
When you reach the 1000th, you should plan an event, like, "let's all meet in the South Pacific at X spot". If you can't get there by boat, then fly in and stay aboard someone else's. Could possibly get a fair bit of people together. Could work it with a few sponsors.
I'd sail down.
B
I will try and remember that!
Seems we grow at about 100 a month, so it may be possible to get somewhere near to 1000 within a year ...... we will see
I am just pleased that it is working at all.
Paul - is there a way to be notified when new links are added to the library?
Yes.
For any given category you can go to that category and select 'Category Tools' then subscribe to that category.
You can also subscribe to just a sub-category.
Hi guys,
I have just received my long awaited copy of Multihull World, (its -15 here in Montreal, just had a tonne of snow the last 24hrs, so this great mag is just what I need!) and there is Andrews great article on the site.....with a lovely little quote. Andrew if I may ."......Most importantly its multi focussed so when you ask a question you dont get bombarded with usual myopic dribble from some parochial monohull drivers."
I might add that the quality continues to be maintained, and although I am still a couple of years away from casting off, the info is all very valuable. Thanks guys
Thats great news because we need some publicity to attract more members and many thanks to Andy.
A small write up has just appeared in Sailing Today over her in the UK as well.
If anyone wants to email their favourite magazine on behalf of the site, please do it..
Currently we are attracting 100 members a month but this little publicity splurge may help to improve that figure.
If all members could attract at least one 'multihuller' by emailing them - that would double the membership overnight.
I have just emailed Mark at Multihull Review magazine, so I will let you know the outcome.
Multihulls World (French Magazine - very good) just emailed them the same request for a bit of editorial.
Good Day All,
I have spent a few nights catching up on the content of the site and have now used up even more boat building time than normal catching up on sleep.
Thank you for this forum Paul, it is an excellent effort. Maybe I have missed your RSS feed as I am a bit slow to find links. If not, do you have any plans to create one?
Regards, Tom

I can turn on the RSS feed if its wanted.
Up to now I have not bothered.
Does anyone else want a news feed?
What really makes the site is the members contributions, a fact I will never forget. I myself spend a fair amount of time learning from it.![]()
Hello all,
I've just found this forum from someone mentioning it at CF.
I'm afraid I'm not a proud owner of a multihull (well, not yet) and not even of a boat. I'm still in the very beginnings of the sailing skills learning but loving every minute of it!
Anyway, soon (hopefully in less than 1 year time) I will be buying my first boat and I'm in the process of deciding between a mono-hull and a multi and I will need a lot of info from you all. For a lot of reasons I'm much more inclined for the multis, being the costs of buying one and the lack of "parking space" in a marina the only less positive points I can find right now in having a multihull.
So, I will be around a lot (not contributing because of my lack of experience and knowledge) but always willing to learn and to hearing from your wise words.
Thank you.
