Default Insurance in Mediterranean for US boat

    Folks:
We are expecting to reflag a BVI boat to US but keep it in the Med for the next few years. Who should we talk with regarding insurance coverage?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Maybe Pantaenius.

Nothing works on an old boat, except the skipper.

Larry - you may benefit from going to an insurance broker who represents multiple underwriters. I use Jack Martin Associates in Annapolis >> http://www.jackmartin.com/

My guy there has placed my boat in different companies depending on where I planned to cruise. Although this has not included the Med, I bet if I asked them they'd handle it.

Disclaimer: I hate insurance companies with a passion. I will now go take a shower to cleanse myself of making a reference to one.

Gents: Jack Martin agency looks at a bunch of potential companies, including Pantaenius. Numbers are looking pretty much as expected. Thank you.
