The South Pacific sounds great but we are hanging in the Caribbean for several years. Maybe after that?
I have not heard from others who were interested in the Soper's Hole get together in late April/early May. Are you all still interested?

    Hello Stan,

No, the thread died and to my knowledge it never happened. Welcome to the forum, I see you are a new member. Which 430 do you have. Is it an owner's version?
We have a 470 charter version in the Chesapeake, sort of planning on taking it to the USVI's in early October. I don't think we will go thru the Abacos. We bought SeapawsII in the Bahamas and took her to Hopetown and left it for six weeks then went back and brought her up to Annapolis in June of 2005. She'll have gone thru 10 winters fighting freezing temps, snow, ice, etc and I will be glad to not have to winterize the boat.

    Where are you from?

Congrats on the boat, is it your first multihull? If you have any questions on the systems feel free to drop me a note. I have now 10 years experience with everything on our boat and they are very much the same only ours is a little bigger.

I just recently sold my F27 Corsair, it's my first cruising cat but not my first multihull

I'm sure in will have lots of questions, luckily the current owner is very helpful

We have many corsair owners in the Chesapeake Multihull Association. We joined the club five years ago ish and have made several good friends. Our boat is affectionately know as the mother ship, There was a raftup with 11 masts, and 27 hulls at one event we attended. We figured we were 175' wide, I'll have to dig up the picture and post it. It was a mixture of tri's and cats, with SeapawsII's anchor taking the brunt of the load.

Just got notification of a post! Sorry to have dropped the ball on the rendezous. We traveled the Exumas 2014 and just went to the Keys this year. Met a couple who own a Voyage 44 named Wild Horses. They are in Daytona Beach also.
Plans for the fall are to go lobster hunting on the Berrys and then to Georgetown. Want to see if we can get a group together in Georgetown?
