Default Hull Release Party for Alpha 42

    FYI,

Well things are coming along on the Alpha 42. I attended the hull release party Friday night. Despite the light snow and roads that were getting slippery, there were more than 50 in attendance. Good party; I wrote about it in a post yesterday to the Alpha 42 thread on M4Us, and uploaded some photos from my digital camera:

There was also a photographer there for the occasion, and there are many pictures posted on the Alpha 42 build blog, for those interested.

It is pretty exciting to think this is going on directly across the river from where we keep Searenity, and less than two miles from my house.

Looks great Marshall, there's always a feeling of elation when demolding a nice shiny part, certainly comes across in the pics, lifted my spirits too, we got some pretty miserable weather here at present. Thanks for posting & all the best from Jeff.

Based on subsequent experience, it should have been a wake.

Was down to the yard a couple weeks ago and meet with Marc and Tom, Gregor is no longer involved with the build. The quality and refinements with each new boat is very impressive, there on the right track of putting together a well build catamaran.
