Default Apology for web site outage

We actually had our domain pinched for a few days hence anyone logging in was directed to a small web site selling boats. Now all is back to normal and apologies for the outage.

Happy to see we're back online, scary to see the forum disappear, such a valuable resource for many of us !!!

    Thanks Paul

It was me who reported on cruisersforum wondering what happened, actually replying on an old thread there...
I will also immediately report we're back online

I e-mailed Paul once I noticed it was gone - it came back quickly after that.

    It was really strange.
There was a new sailing web site there in its place. The domain was managed by the previous forum host business that kept having outages and I could not contact them to renew it.
Then bang a new site replaced it so i thought I had a fight on my hands. However after days of my telephone calls being ignored they responded and apologised. I was then eventually able to transfer the domain so it could not happen again and renew it. I thought I had lost it for a while.
