Thread: Need a Crossbeam for a 43' Catamaran

Default Need a Crossbeam for a 43' Catamaran

I am looking for a 5 3/4 x 9 (or slightly larger) section of clean mast that is 20' long and a minimum of 3/16" thick in order to construct a crossbeam for a 43' catamaran. The other option would be an already assembled crossbeam with A-frame and martingale. Somewhere in the Southeast US would be most convenient. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

There are hundreds of mast section (parts) in the BVI's, try contacting The Moorings. Transport may be an issue. Other hurricane hit areas maybe? or even marine insurance companies? looking to mitigate their losses. This is common in the motor insurance industry where there are many companies breaking motors.
