I have always liked this group. The CD version is much better (Beyond the sunset album), but still worth listening too.

35 years ago today the Edmund Fitzgerald went down near Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay, not far from my home in Michigan loosing all 29 men aboard.

Not so much sailing songs, but the aura of the islands of Hawaii. I have been enjoying what would be labled Hawaiin music for a decade. Some quite beachboyish, and all the way to spiritual like chanting, but one of my most favorites is IZZ combining two of my most favorite songs. A true songbird, and I imagine myself daily slipping this disc in when the islands show themselves over the horizon this coming spring.......i2f
